Greg is a native of North Georgia. He was raised in Catoosa County and graduated from Ringgold High School. He received his graduate degree (M.Div.) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Before being called to South Seminole, he served as pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church for 26 years. He and his wife Kris have been married for 27 years, and they have three daughters: Anna, Caroline, and Ella. Greg has a passion to shepherd Christ’s church and make disciples. He is excited about this new season of ministry at South Seminole. Greg enjoys all things outdoors, including fishing, hunting, and golfing. He loves reading good theology, eating potato chips, watching sports (especially football), and spending time with his family at home. Greg's first Sunday was August 13th, 2023.
